Endurance is the story of a boy who donates his blood to save his brother's life.  In order to endure the painful, twice-weekly procedures, he goes off in his mind with Sir Ernest Shackleton's expedition to the South Pole in 1914.  A monologue from it has just been published in Best Monologues for Men, 2019 (Smith and Kraus.)
