Divine Providence follows the joy of hopeful transformation, the bleak horizon of loss, and how the two play and intertwine.
Ryan is a psychologist. His wife Amy is a social worker. They have a secretive, loving dependency on each other and are hooked on pills and depression. They think they are helpers, but are really a toxic pair.
Ryan's twin Sarah thinks she knows what she wants, but her partner Dawn is changing - blossoming into a woman, from the man she was.
Divine Providence is a journey of antithesis, where some learn to fly, while others fall into the abyss.
Setting: Outskirts of Providence RI, not too long ago.
