Will's Playshop

NOW AT THE NEW STUDIO at A.R.T./New York 520 8TH AVE. , 3RD FLOOR.

Instruction by Charles E. Gerber, WorkShop Theater Founding Member (1994), Creator/ Director Will's Playshop (2003).

Exploring the practical, professional, and spiritual joys that can be derived from one of the greatest mind/souls in human history.  Will's Playshop is annually structured in two, separate seasonal sessions. The fall session is in a more experimental LAB mode, allowing for greater exploration and individual growth within a communal perspective.  The winter/spring session progresses towards and culminates in the Annual WILL-A-THON Showcase, usually occurring during the week in which appears April 23rd, Shakespeare's birthday.  

The 17th ANNUAL WILLA-THON is scheduled for the week of April 23rd( his birthday)2020 in celebration of the 456th anniversary of Will's birth.It shall feature members of Will's Playshop, present and past ,plus some celebrated guest artists TBA!     

Class Dates & Times:

Winter/Spring 2020 semester:

Ten 3 hour sessions on Mondays from 11:00 A. M. to 2:00 P.M & Saturdays from 10:A.M. to 1:00 P.M.

MONDAYS:
January 27th
February 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th
March 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th

SATURDAYS:
January 25th
February 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th (Yes, A Leap Year!)
March 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th

COURSE FEES:

$450 for one 10 week sessions (30 hours)
$750 for both sessions, Mondays AND Saturdays (60 hours)

Participants need not commit to ONLY Mondays or ONLY Saturdays and may fulfill course requirements by taking classes EITHER Monday or Saturday until 10 sessions (30 hours) have been completed.

WORKSHOP THEATER MEMBERS:  Discount Fees: $350 for 30 hours and $500 for 60 hours.
